TPLANNER User Guide

Everything you need to know to get the most out of the platform.

🚀 Getting started

Create an account

Sign up with your email address. The Starter plan is free and does not require a credit card.

Create your first project

From the main dashboard, click '+ New project'. Assign a name, description and start/end dates.

Set up the calendar

In the 'Start' tab define the working days, shifts and holidays for the project.

🏗️ WBS — Work Breakdown Structure

Add activities

Use the '+Root' button to create first-level activities. With '+↓' you add sub-activities (up to 7 levels).

Edit fields

Click the '✎' icon on any row to edit the name, dates, duration and progress.

Predecessors

Enter the predecessor activity ID (e.g. '3' or '3,5') to create automatic dependencies in the Gantt.

Activity types

Each activity can be Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Other. The type assigns a color in the Gantt.

Navigate the Gantt

Use the Month/Week/Day buttons to change the time scale. The +/− buttons adjust the zoom level.

Baseline

Click 'Set BL' to save the original schedule. You can add up to 5 additional control baselines.

Critical path

Activities on the critical path are automatically highlighted in red based on CPM calculation.

Search activities

Use the search field in the Gantt header to filter activities by name.

💰 Costs and EVM

Enter costs

In the 'Costs' tab assign the planned cost (BAC) per activity. The actual cost is updated with progress.

Earned Value (EVM)

The system automatically calculates PV, EV, AC, CPI, SPI, CV, SV and EAC/ETC projections.

Status indicators

CPI and SPI are shown with traffic lights: green (≥1.0), yellow (0.9–1.0), red (<0.9).

📊 Reports

Export to PDF

In the 'Report' tab, select the sections you want to include and click 'Print / PDF'.

AI narrative

The executive narrative automatically analyzes the project status using AI. Requires API key configured.

👥 Collaboration (Enterprise)

Invite members

In the project header, click '👥 Members'. Enter the collaborator's email and assign a role: Admin, Editor or Viewer.

Roles

Admin: full access. Editor: can edit the project. Viewer: read-only.

Audit history

The 'History' tab shows all changes with date, user and details of what changed.
