T-meet vs Tactiq
Tactiq and T-meet are both Chrome extensions that transcribe Google Meet, Zoom and Teams without a bot joining the call. They are built differently, and each is better for different people. This page tries to be fair to both.

Where Tactiq is ahead
- You read the transcript while the meeting is happening.
- Many more languages and a long list of integrations.
- Plans for teams, with admin and sharing features.
Where T-meet is different
- It transcribes the audio and separates the speakers, then writes a summary and action items in the language of the meeting.
- The free plan is counted in hours, not in number of transcripts, and every feature is included.
- You can rename the speakers, and the names carry into the summary, the PDF and the exports. In long meetings the letters can change between 5-minute blocks, so check them.
- The action items can go straight into a TPlanner schedule. It is built with construction and project teams in mind.
- The audio is not stored on the server, and your history stays in your browser.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose Tactiq if you want live text during the call, need many languages, or want your notes to flow into tools like Slack, Notion or HubSpot.
- Choose T-meet if you prefer a transcript with separated speakers and a ready-made summary after the meeting, you work with project schedules, or you want a free plan measured in hours.
- You can also install both and compare on your own meetings: both have a free plan.
Is T-meet a free alternative to Tactiq?
T-meet has a permanent free plan with 1.5 hours of transcription per month and no card. Tactiq also has a free plan, with 10 transcripts per month. They are measured differently, so the better one depends on how long your meetings are.
Does T-meet show the transcript live?
No. T-meet gives you the result after you stop recording. If you need text during the call, Tactiq is the better fit.
Do both work without a bot?
Yes. Neither adds a participant to the call.
Can I use both?
Yes. They are separate Chrome extensions and both have a free plan.
